ELIZABETH STUDIOS

Graphic Rewilding is an ongoing art project created by artists Baker & Borowski. The goal of this project is to introduce the diversity and colours of nature into urban environments. Through large scale artworks we hope to inspire and encourage people to connect with nature, and ‘Reimagine’ feels poignant within this context.

Removing these flowers from a natural context, the glorious shapes and colours of the flowerheads with all context absent provides a complex non concrete energy, with one foot in abstract minimalism, the other in still life.

 

Installed in a skip, outside The Art House for the duration of the 'I'm not a nature lover' exhibition by Acrylicise x Skip Gallery x Graphic Rewilding.
